AAI Junior Executive ATC Hall Ticket

Reference recruitment Advertisement No. 01/2012 released in newspapers and AAI website regarding filling up of vacancy for the post of Jr. Executive (ATC).

The hall ticket for the written examination is scheduled to be held on 01.07.2012 (Sunday) at 10.00 hrs. have been already uploaded in “Applicant Login” in www.aai.aero (Careers On-line recruitment applicant login). Candidates are advised to download their Admit Card failing which they shall not be allowed to appear in the written exam.

No Admit Card for the written examination shall be sent by post.

No request for written exam center change is allowed.

The information on the date of written examination for the post of Jr. Executive (Electronics) shall be informed as and when the same are finalized.

Due to some technical problem the Roll Numbers have been re-allotted to the Candidates for the Jr. Executive (ATC) Examination to be held on 1st July, 2012 (Advt. No. 01/2012). The revised examination Admit Cards have been uploaded on the website in the applicant login. All Candidates are advised to ignore the previous Admit Cards uploaded on 16.06.2012 and download the revised Admit Cards.

    Im also in the same confusion. I had received the hall ticket but the date mentioned on it was 16.06.2012 till now. In notice they've mentioned that they just reallotted the roll nos. that means can we go 4 exam with this hall ticket or not?

    date of exam of jr executive atc is 1/7/12...and jr executive electronics is not yet decided.

    This is 4 the aspirants who wants 2 prepare 4 je(electronics) exam. I had written the je(ATC) exam. Exam duration is 2hrs(10.00am - 12.00pm). Paper contains 2 sections 1st section is having the subjects GK, General Intelligence, English, Aptitude. 2nd section is on our core subjects. Each section consists of 50 qs. And in instructions he didn't mentioned anything about negative marking. For English its better 2 prepare all the previous IES general ability test papers. In gk 3 qs from geography on rivers this time. In english mainly qs are from verbal analogy, identifying incorrect part of sentence, synonims, antonyms & logical deduction. I think he had also covered the aptitude in the form of verbal analogy(Reasoning) only. 2qs on airports i.e GI & some qs on GK also. All & all in this section vast no.of qs are from english/aptitude(verbal analogy, synonyms, antonyms & logical deduction). Not exactly only these 2 parts may contribute around 25-30 marks.
    Coming 2 the 2nd section though he had mentioned the subjects like electronics, Telecommunication, Radio Engineering, IT, Electrical, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science in the admit card the qs are from electronics(EDC, Analog, Digital electronics & VLSI), communication, computer networks, control systems, signals & systems and some qs from physics also. In this section major no.qs r mainly from electronics. I think for the Je(electronics) exam one should have 2 prepare complete electronics i.e. the above 4 subjects. It is must as it is purely electronics exam. 5 qs r from physics. Around 15-20 qs r from electronics, next qs r from communication, CS, SS, CN, Emtl, antennas and 2 qs from networks. These are not the exact numbers just this is 2 give a view on the structure & pattern of the exam only.
    Je(ATC) exam is over not Je(Electronics). Exam date of Je(Electronics) has not yet declared.

    cutoff released for aai (atc) and electronics 2011....
    cutoff--27 (general) in each section
    24 for obc.
    21 for st/sc.

    is it true....i saw on one site and even my friend got selected last year in it said he attempted 30 in each section correctly.

    The best for the preparation of JE(Electronics) exam is Gateway to IES by Ashish Dixit. Most of the topics are covered in this book.

    Anita main ne bas itna kaha ki most of the topics were covered in this book which are mentioned in the admit card so that it will be helpful to prepare in this less span of time. Tum chehe tho kuch be pad sakte ho chahe o electronics ya electrical. And by the way there is no communication subject for electrical people similarly power electronics for us.

    there is negative marking. last year i gave the paper and got selected in written but interview clear nai hua.....sometimes they write "there is negative marking and like last time and dis time in 2012 atc exam they didn't" so one should try to attempt whatever he knows.

    my take is that attempt 32 correct without any wrong to clear cutoff so that u aleast get a call. most people attempt 40-45 and land up messing paper. coz we think v did right but it goes negative. ---rahul

    hurray, aai atc result out , i got selected. see i told you, i attempted 40 in technical section and 28 in aptitude. jo risk nai lega vo nai jeetega. dar k aagae jeet hai...as per sources there is sectional cutoff in exam. total cutoff is there for merit.

    cutoff:-non-technical=22/50 marks
    technical=37/50 marks(i was also shocked)

    now preparing for aai (operation). operation is damn easy paper like clerk. al the best .

    Thos who are talking about negative marks has to calrify,where was that mentioned??

    One thing was mentioned clearly on answer sheets.
    Mark the bubbles carefully.If more than one bubbles are marked,marks assigned to that question will be zero.It wont be -1/3 or -1/4.If there was negative marking for JE-Electronics exam,then for multiple marking on bubbles would have fetched negaive marks.

    From this itself its clear that there was no negative markings.Those who have attempted all questions confidently,will be on the top of the list.others would be in the middle,or bottom or may be out of the list......
